Chevron nigeria, job vacancy:Completions Engineer

Chevron is the third-largest oil producer in Nigeria and one of its largest investors, spending more than $3 billion annually.
The company operates under a joint venture arrangement with the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation and has assets on land, swamp and near-offshore concessions covering approximately 2.2 million acres (8,900 sq km) in the Niger Delta region.
Chevron also has extensive interests in deepwater Nigeria. The Agbami Field is one of Nigeria’s largest deepwater discoveries. The company also has interest in another deepwater development, the Usan project.
Chevron provides career opportunities for 3,100 employees. Another 3,500 workers are under contract. A majority of each group is Nigerian.

Job Title: COMPLETIONS ENGINEER
Job Description:
  1. Liaise with Asset team & Well Design Engineers in assuring that basis of design and completion issues are clear.
  2. Develop detailed completions operations procedures and assist in management of completion installations in country.
  3. Coordinate Resevoir Management & Production Operations interface issues.
  4. Implement completions performance management.

Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with a minimum of Second Class Upper
Required Skills:
  • Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office Suite and completions softwares
  • Demonstrable experience in coordinating Reservoir Management and Production Operations interface
  • Good planning, organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Effective communication skills
Experience Minimum of Five (5) years relevant post degree work experience as a Completions Engineer (includes National Youth Service)
